CARRSVILLE—Walter William Arnesen, 65, of Carrsville died Oct. 8, 2012.

A funeral will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home, Franklin. Burial will follow at noon at the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk.

The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

A native of Brooklyn, Mr. Arnesen retired from the New York City Police Department and the Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia; daughters Candice Grams and Tracie Molaro; and son Kenneth Arnesen.
