ISLE OF WIGHT—Isle of Wight County Department of Parks and Recreation through Oct. 21 is registering youth for basketball and cheerleading.

Open to those 6 through 14, the basketball program costs $50, $46 for the second child and $48 for the third living in the same household.

Anyone who registers from Oct. 22 through Nov. 2 will pay an additional $10.

Cheering registration will run through Oct. 15 for those 6 through 13. Registration is $38 plus the cost of a cheering uniform.
