The 31st annual Franklin Fall Festival, which continues Saturday, Oct. 6, promises to be a good one.
Hosted by the Downtown Franklin Association, the street festival will feature 110 vendors and attractions on Main Street between Fourth Avenue and the Blackwater River Boat Landing. The day also will include children’s attractions and games, the Mustang Car Show and food.
The Sons of Confederate Veterans Urquhart-Gillette Camp of Courtland will host a living history event on the Blackwater River.
Visitors will take guided rides on pontoon boats to see where most of the fighting during the Civil War took place below Franklin.
Forecasters are calling for a partly cloudy 85 degrees, so get out and enjoy the nice weather while you can. You’re bound to run into a friend or two.
