How’s business going: Great. We are expanding the Courtland office along Highway 58.

One thing you wish everyone knew about your business: The variety of our caseload. We are well versed in criminal, personal injury and family law. But we also are successful in business law, contract disputes and estate planning.

Something you offer that a customer won’t find elsewhere: We are extremely accessible. We offer our cellphone numbers to clients in cases of emergency and regularly check email to give a rapid response to clients.

Advice to young entrepreneurs: If you are not sure about a legal issue resolving your new business, contact an attorney before a mistake happens or a deadline is missed.

Your first job: Retail sales and waiter in college

Your role model (in business or in life): I have learned a lot by working with Jack Randall, one of the firm’s partners in Courtland.  He has good poise in the courtroom and is knowledgeable about the details of the law from years of being a prosecutor.

 

Key to a successful business is: Communication with clients.  Clients are always willing to overlook minor problems or errors, but what most people do not forgive is failure to keep in touch with them.
