To the Editor:

We cannot begin to express how grateful we are to everyone for being a part of the Mustang-Hope For The Warriors 10K/5K 1-Mile Fun Walk on Sept. 22.

To all of our volunteers — which numbered over 100 — friends and family from near and far, grandparents, coaches, logistics support, participants, 52 sponsors, Mustang football players and cheerleaders, City of Franklin and James L Camp Jr. YMCA….it takes a TEAM to pull these types of events together and we had a great team!

We are beyond thankful for all that everyone did to pull this off.

To all of our veterans and our guests, Manny Jimenez and the Ellis family, we thank you for being a part of our event, for your time and support, and mostly for your service to our country.

We are proud to partner with such inspirational people and such a great organization, Hope For The Warriors.

We had overwhelming success with over 100 people registering the day of the race bringing our participation totals covering all categories to over 400. Plus, it could not have been a more beautiful day.

We are proud to have been a part of this fundraising effort and give a BIG SHOUT out to our community for making the Mustang 10K/5K 1-Mile Fun Walk a successful event.
