FRANKLIN—Christopher “Chris” Lee Jones, 42, of Franklin was called home to be with the Lord on Sept. 15, 2012.

He was born Jan. 11, 1970, in Franklin, Va., to Elsie Jones and the late Larry Jones.

He graduated Franklin High School in 1988 and moved to Hampton, Va., while attending college. Mr. Jones enjoyed going to the beach, reading and traveling.

He leaves to cherish his mother, Elsie Jones; two sisters, Lucinda Dunn and Annette Macklin; a brother, Talvern Jones; grandmother, Irene Jones; two nephews, Antwan Macklin and Tynan Ricks; two nieces, LaQuella Macklin and LaToya Dunn; two great-nephews, Ayden Banks and LaMontae’ Dunn; one great-niece, Lyrika Manning; and a host of aunts, uncles and friends.

The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern and kindness shown s during this hour of bereavement. May God bless and keep you.
