SMITHFIELD—Dorothy Lee Scott Doggett, 90, of Courthouse Highway, Smithfield, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at her home.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Colonial Funeral Home, Smithfield, with the Rev. Mike Harrington officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland United Methodist Church Cemetery.

A lifelong Isle of Wight County resident, Mrs. Doggett was a homemaker.

Survivors include a daughter, Deborah “Jean” Moody of Smithfield; sons Alfred “Dwight” Doggett Jr. and Michael Doggett, both of Windsor; and a brother, John Shepherd Scott Jr. of Smithfield.
