HOBGOOD, N.C.- Southampton Academy’s Tonee Hill contributed on both sides of the ball and scored seven touchdowns in a 92-62 win over Hobgood Academy.

Hill rushed for 410 yards on 17 carries and scored six times. Hill also passed for a 54-yard touchdown to Paul Parker and snagged an interception in the win.

“He did a lot,” Raiders’ Coach Dale Marks said. “He sure did.”

Parker was the team’s second leading rusher with 11 carries for 94 yards and one touchdown. Nate Williams added 61 yards on two carries with a touchdown and Matt Rose ran three times for 18 yards and a touchdown. Rose also threw for a 31-yard touchdown to Zach Best, but threw his first interception of the season in the win.

“We can do a lot of things on offense,” Marks said. “Speed is a big thing. We’ve got speed.

“We’ve got some tough runners and can throw the ball as well,” he said. “We can run inside and we can run outside. It’s just hard to defend us right now.”

SA remains unbeaten on the year at 5-0 and will take on Parrott Academy at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28 for homecoming.
