The Caregivers-Always Faithful team, which has members from Franklin, will participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Western Tidewater on Saturday, Sept. 22, at Constant’s Wharf in Suffolk.

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the walk will start at 10.

The Caregivers-Always Faithful team is expected to join more than 350 people on the one- to three-mile walk to support the Alzheimer’s Association.

“We have been personally affected by Alzheimer’s,” said Caregivers Team Captain Mary Francis Newsome of Franklin. “All of our team members have had friends or relatives who were stricken with this dreaded disease. We know firsthand that it is critical to support the Alzheimer’s Association.”
