NEWPORT NEWS—Isle of Wight County native Franklin Andrew Tynes, 68, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2012.

The funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, at the M.E. Fisher Funeral Home at 2117 Madison Ave, Newport News. A viewing will be held two hours prior to service.
