COMO, N.C.—Rose Conwell Drake of Como, N.C., died Aug. 31, 2012, at Vidant Healthcare Center in Greenville, N.C.

She is survived by her husband, James Drake; and children Rose Drake Goforth of Greenville, Tim Drake of Conway, N.C., and Sheree Drake Brubaker of Grimesland, N.C.

Mrs. Drake worked for Chowan University for 18 years and taught in Hertford County Schools in Murfreesboro through Roanoke Chowan Community College.

A memorial service was held Sunday at Buckhorn Baptist Church, Como.
