WAVERLY—Carolyn Herring Carr, 78, of Waverly died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012.

The funeral was held Sunday at Waverly United Methodist Church. Burial followed in Waverly Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Carr; and sons, Keith and Brian Carr.
