Mrs. Shirley Virginia Mae Vincent Michael, 80, of 300 Blue Ridge Street, Martinsville, Va., died Sunday, August 26, 2012, at Blue Ridge Rehab Center in Martinsville, Va.

She was born in Franklin, Va., on May 5, 1932, a daughter of Martha Scott Vincent and the late Linwood Vincent.

She was retired from Consolidated Laundry in New Jersey and was a member of First Baptist Church in Franklin, Va.

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Martha Scott Vincent of Franklin, Va.; one daughter, Teressa Vinson of Franklin, Va.; two sons, Dereck Vinson, of Philadelphia, Pa., and Stanley Vinson, of Martinsville, Va.; one sister, Evedin Blunder of Franklin, Va.; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 at Johnson Funeral Home in Franklin, Va., with her son Stanley delivering the eulogy.

Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery in Franklin, Va. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, from 7 to 8 p.m.
