CAPRON—The 4-H Youth Dove Hunt will be held 2 p.m. to dusk on Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Southampton Correctional Farm Picnic Pavilion on Route 308 outside Capron.

Open to youth 9 to 15 years old, the hunt is free for youth and $3 for adults. Each youth must be accompanied by a parent or guardian with a hunting license.

Youth 12 to 15 year old must have completed a hunter education course and have a junior hunting license. Anyone younger is not required to complete a hunter education course or have a hunting license.

Each child must register by Friday, Sept. 7. Pre-registration does not guarantee an opportunity to hunt.
