Linda Mae Ashby Powell, 68, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 5358 Zuni Circle, Zuni, with burial at Holly Lawn Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Powell; daughter, Jennifer Dawn Powell of Windsor; brothers James Calvin Ashby of Madison, N.C., and Cecil Ashby of Suffolk.

R. W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, Suffolk, is handling arrangements.
