EMPORIA—Two Emporia teens were killed when the car they were riding in hit a tree at 7:40 a.m. Saturday in Greensville County, Virginia State Police said.

Heather Daniel Seal and her passenger, Rebecca Lynn Totino, both 18, died at MCV in Richmond, police said.

Seal was driving northbound on Pine Log Road when her 2003 Honda Accord left the road.

Neither were wearing seat belts, police said.
