CONWAY, N.C.—Terry “Snap” Gregory, 58, of Conway, N.C., passed away on August 14, 2012.

He was born in Como, N.C., on March 27, 1954. He was the son of the late James and Frances I. Gregory.

He was a retired boilermaker and a member of The International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 45.

He was predeceased by a son, John Curtis Gregory; and brothers James Leon Gregory and James Melvin Gregory.

He is survived by his wife, Leslie M. Gregory of the home; daughters Sarah E. Williams and husband, Jay, of Zuni, Va., and Abbie G. Gregory and son, James Cole Gregory, both of Windsor, Va., two stepsons, Andrew Byrd and Scotty Byrd of West Virginia; and one granddaughter, Camryn Roe Williams of Zuni, Va. He is also survived by his sisters, Lola Cornwell (G.S.) of Conway, Sue Brooks (David) of Roanoke Rapids; and his brothers, Rev. Donald Gregory (Sharon), Randy Gregory (Mary) and Gene Gregory (Sheila) of Roanoke Rapids. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 16, 2012, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Bridgers Funeral Home, 605 W. Main St., Conway, N.C.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 17, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Faison’s Assembly of God, 8852 UW 158 Hwy., Conway, N.C.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the Terry C. Gregory Memorial Fund at any branch of First Citizens Bank or mailed to First Citizens Bank, 201 W. Main St., Conway, N.C., 27820.
