FRANKLIN—A motorist was killed in a multi-vehicle Saturday evening crash on Armory Drive just over the City of Franklin line in Southampton County, Virginia State Police reported.

Police have charged a driver, but did not have additional details to release as of Monday morning, said Sgt. Greg Jackson.
