June Romines Vann

FRANKLIN—June Romines Vann, 88, widow of Claude Vann, died Sunday, August 12, 2012, at East Pavilion.

Born August 31, 1923, in Sevierville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Jobie Whig and Golda Ann Turner Parrott.

Surviving are her daughter, Gladys R. Brittle of Yale, Va.; sons, Olin G. (Brenda) Romines of Franklin and Ira C. (Judy) Romines of Capron; daughter-in-law, Jenny Parrotte; sister, Helen Walker; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by son, Jimmy H. Parrotte.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 15, 2012, in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Hoyle Green officiating. Interment will follow in Southampton Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and suggests memorials be made to the Hunterdale or Franklin Fire and Rescue Squad. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.
