Anthony Wayne Caulder

CHESAPEAKE—Anthony Wayne Caulder, 48, passed away on August 6, 2012, at his home after a yearlong illness.

Wayne was born in Portsmouth, but resided in Sedley most of his life. He was a son of the late Bobby I. Caulder Sr. and Mildred Anne Wadsworth Boyd.

He was a former employee of McClean Contractors.

He was a member of Kingdom Life Ministries in Chesapeake and had a passion for mission work. He had been on five humanitarian trips to Romania.

He is survived be his wife of 20 years, Debbie C. Caulder; one daughter, Ami-ann Caulder and her fiancée, Steven Lofay; a stepson, Byron Banks and his wife, Melanie; one sister, Joann Emery; two stepsisters, Melanie Johnson and Naomi Koontz; five brothers, Bobby Caulder Jr., Michael Caulder, Nathan Caulder, Neal Caulder and Dale Carter; four grandchildren, Steven, Ashlyn, Jocelyn and Colton; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 9, 2012, in the Chapel of Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Reverend Randy Wooden officiating. The burial will be private at Rosemont Cemetery in Sedley.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and after the service at the funeral home.
