VIRGINIA BEACH—Former Severn, N.C., resident Moselle Maddrey Comer, 93, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at a local nursing home.

A funeral will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at Smith-Williams Funeral Home at 4889 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach. Her family will greet friends at 10 a.m. Interment will be 2:30 p.m. in the Severn Cemetery.

A graduate of Severn High School, she was a dental assistant for 48 years.

Harold Massey Funeral Home in Jackson, N.C., is handling arrangements.
