JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Leslie R. Jones died Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital in Florida.

A memorial service was held July 28 at Shivers Funeral Chapel.

Mr. Jones attended public school in Isle of Wight County.

Locally, he is survived by a brother, Johnnie Jones of Waverly.

Shivers Funeral Chapel handled arrangements.
