SMITHFIELD—Teresa Lynne Higginbotham Temple, 51, died Wednesday, July 27, 2012, at her home.

A service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Scott Family Cemetery on Bethany Church Road. A reception will follow at Ivor Baptist.

A native and lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County, Mrs. Temple drove an 18-wheeler cross-country for many years.

She is survived by her mother, Christine Scott Harden of Ivor; and children Beau and Areal Crowley, and Farrah and Sierra Fawcett, all of Smithfield; a brother, Steven Higginbotham of Surry; and a sister, Connie Higginbotham Brooks of North Carolina.

Colonial Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
