BRIDGEWATER, N.J.—Former Franklin resident Elinor Westbrook died July 20, 2012, at the Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater, N.J.

A service was held Tuesday at Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News.

Mrs. Westbrook taught elementary school in Windsor.

She is survived by her son, John Westbrook Jr.

Bridgewater Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
