Larry Douglas Williams Sr., 70, of Suffolk died Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Leigh Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2012, at St. Paul RZUA Church. Interment will be in Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery.

Crocker Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

A Franklin native, Mr. Williams retired from Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock after 33 years.

He is survived by daughters Angel Hicks of Portsmouth, Tracay Williams of Hampton, Wanda Mills of Chesapeake, and Crystal and Cynthia Williams, both of Suffolk; sons Larry Williams Jr. and Donnell Williams, both of Suffolk; and a sister, Ann Sharpe.
