FRANKLIN—Marjorie Davis Whitehead, 84, passed away July 7, 2012.

Mrs. Whitehead was born in Franklin, a daughter of the late Paul Blake and Gladys Howell Davis.

She was predeceased by her husband, Alvin Frank Whitehead; a son, William D. “Billy” Whitehead; a daughter-in-law, Betty Jo Whitehead; a brother, Beamon Davis; and a sister, Josephine Barrett.

Mrs. Whitehead was a member of Hunterdale Christian Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Kaye W. Story and husband, Rubin; two sons, Frank Whitehead and wife, Barbara and Douglas H. Whitehead and wife, Sharon; a sister, Gladys D. Williams; daughter-in-law, Lorraine Whitehead; eight grandchildren, Blake, Ryan, Austin, and Caleb Whitehead, Ginny Lane, Erica Whitehead, Angela Story and Wesley Barnes; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, July 9, 2012, at Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Wright officiating. The burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
