HAMPTON—Hiram H. Whitehead Jr., 87, died Sunday, June 10, 2012, at the Hampton VA Medical Center.

A service was held Sunday at the Community Center in Poquoson.

A Courtland native, Mr. Whitehead was a compounding pharmacist for Poquoson Pharmacy for the past 20 years.
