IVOR—Edward J. ‘Minnow’ Walton, 83, of Ivor, died Friday, June 15, 2012 in Hampton. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Peninsula Funeral Home in Newport News. Family will receive friends following the service.

Survivors include one daughter, Gail W. Nelson. He retired as a captain for the City of Hampton.

Peninsula Funeral is in charge of arrangements.
