IVOR—An Ivor family will open three new businesses in town.

Charly Clark, owner of All American Auto Sales and Cycles on Route 460 outside Ivor, recently purchased the former S.S. Kea and Sons, Ivor Supply and several connecting shops on General Mahone Boulevard between Ivor Furniture and Felts Packing.

Clark plans to convert the $300,000, two-acre property into a motorcycle shop, motorcycle showroom and a hardware/general merchandise store.

He will close his present business, except for the wrecker service, and move the motorcycle shop to the new quarters. The two remaining shops are rented.

Clark with his wife, Kathy, and sons, Wayne and William, will operate the shops, while son, Michael, will oversee an eBay and shipping operation from a former grocery store they purchased on Ivor’s Main Street.

“We have a big project on our hands,” said Charly Clark. “But we’re up to the challenge.”

He believes the businesses will support the community, while creating 10 jobs. Most employees will be family.

His motorcycle distributorships include Hyosung and Johnny Pag, USA LLC. He will sell and service the bikes on site.

The Clarks moved to Ivor from Norfolk in 1983 and opened All American Auto Sales and Cycles, and a wrecker service.
