SUFFOLK—Dorothy Ingram Brooks, 62, of Suffolk died Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Duke University Hospital in Durham, N.C.

A funeral will be held 1 p.m. Friday, June 22, at First Baptist Church, 112 Mahan St., Suffolk. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.

A Suffolk native, Mrs. Brooks retired from Sentara Home Care as a nursing assistant.

Locally, she is survived by a brother, Joe Ingram III of Franklin.
