WINDSOR—Louie “Doug” Douglas Barnette, 70, of Windsor died June 13, 2012.

A service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, June 18, at Nansemond Suffolk Cemetery. Friends may call 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk.

Mr. Barnette retired after 30 years as a construction inspector for Virginia Department of Transportation.

Among survivors are his wife, Gloria; daughter, Elisa Simmons of Pierson, Mich; and son, Leslie Barnette of Leesburg.
