MARGARETTSVILLE, N.C.—Mr. John Daniel “Jackie” Warrington, 70, of Margarettsville, N.C., died May 29, 2012.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Hasty Warrington; his mother, Josie Newsome Gay of Seaboard, N.C.; three sons, John Mark Warrington, Patrick Andrew Warrington and Robert Daniel Warrington; three stepchildren, Mae Woodard Rose and husband, Mike, Leneau Woodard Pope and husband, Chuck, and Raymond Robert Woodard; one half brother, Bobby Gay; and one step-grandchild, Ciara Taylor Pope.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 2, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Beechwood Cemetery in Boykins, Va., with Rev. Jim Cox officiating.

The family will receive friends at Massey Funeral Home in Jackson, N.C., Friday from 7 until 8:30 p.m.
