Timothy ‘Tim’ John Cunningham

CARRSVILLE—Timothy “Tim” John Cunningham, 57, Petty Officer First Class (USN Ret.) passed away Friday, May 25, 2012, at his home surrounded by his family.
Born in Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late John William Cunningham and Marie Elizabeth Dann Cunningham and was predeceased by three brothers, Patrick, Stephen and Martin Cunningham.
Tim was known for his love of family, his country and the U.S. Navy. He was an avid Ford classic car enthusiast and passionate about his Boston Red Sox, Green Bay Packers and Boston Celtics. Tim was involved in coaching youth sports in both Suffolk and Carrsville.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 27 years, Carolynn Dianne Cunningham; his son, Bradley Allen Cunningham (Lindsay) of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; two sisters, Marie E. Blanchard (Wallace III) of Kentucky and Catherine M. Seefeldt (Jurgen) of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Daniel Cunningham (Michele) of Texas and John Cunningham (Marjorie) of New Hampshire; his beloved pets, Sadie and Lucy; and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2012, at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with Rev. L. E. Stanworth officiating. Inurnment with full Naval Honors will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2012, at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk.
