IVOR—The Southampton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of an Ivor man, found hanging at his home at 1:22 p.m. Saturday.

The cause of death for Rodger K. Lagrone, 60, of the 13000 block of Appleton Road will be determined by the medical examiner in Norfolk, said Major Gene Drewery.

Drewery did not want to comment as to whether or not Lagrone’s death appeared suspicious or accidental.
