COURTLAND-James Ray Chestnutt, 74, of Courtland died Saturday, May 19, 2012.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home and other times at the family residence. Burial with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Veterans Cemetery.
Mr. Chestnutt, a photographer and a retired Civil Service estimator and planner, was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church.
Among his survivors are his wife, Sandra C. Chestnutt; a daughter, Michelle Gray; two sons, Michael Chesnutt and Ronald Chestnutt; and four brothers.
