Randall Betz and Barbara Mease have announced the engagement of their daughter, Megan Betz, to Tremain Ashburn, son of Ricky Parker and Phyllis Grant.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Franklin High School and Virginia Wesleyan College in Virginia Beach. She is a teacher for Southampton County Public Schools.
Her fiance is a graduate of Southampton High School and Paul D. Camp Community College. He is a shipfitter at Huntington Ingalls in Newport News.
The couple will be married May 26, 2012.
