PORTSMOUTH—Rebecca Barnes-Scott, 75, passed away on May 11, 2012, at DePaul Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held noon Thursday, May 17, at Steele-Bullock Funeral Home Chapel.

A Southampton County native who also lived in Franklin, she is survived by her husband, Ralph Scott; daughter, Venessa Scott; sons, Vince and Lynn Scott; and brothers, Hosie and Henry Williams.
