ISLE OF WIGHT—An accident with serious injuries occurred at 9 p.m. Monday on Route 258 in Isle of Wight, Virginia State Police reported.

The accident involved one vehicle; it’s unknown at this time how many people were in the vehicle. A medical helicopter was dispatched to the scene.
