Windsor defeats Franklin 8-1

FRANKLIN—The Franklin boys’ tennis team ended its regular season with an 8-1 home loss to Windsor.

In doubles tiebreakers for the Tri-Rivers District match, the Windsor team of Cody Reese and Maurice Bynum defeated Michael Lawyer and Daryl West 7-3 and Franklin’s Shaun Derama and William Jackson defeated Kyle Hollowell and Alex Kiser 7-4.

The district tournament that will be held Thursday and Friday, May17-18, at the Howard Mast Tennis Complex in Suffolk.

No. 3—Reese/Newsome (F) lost 1-8 to Hogan/Klausmeier

 

The Broncos are now 1-9 overall and 1-1 in the district
