She became an official scout in December at the group’s investiture ceremony, but Indiya was a tag-a-long since birth.

The daughter of Bobby and Daphne Reid, she has always enjoyed coming to scouts with her mom and sister, Brionna. A student at Meherrin Elementary School, Indiya loves participating in scout events such as her first Adopt-a-Highway community service project.

The scouts pick up trash twice a year under the leadership of Kisha Watford. After Indiya and her scout sisters picked up trash in Boykins on Saturday, they had ice cream at Boykins Beans & Ice Cream.
