CLAYTON, N.C.— Elizabeth “Betty” Cauley, 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 2, with her family at her side in her home in Clayton, N.C.

The family will receive friends and relatives Friday, May 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. at McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 5, in the McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mark White officiating.

Interment will follow at Pine Crest Memorial Park.

Mrs. Cauley is survived by her husband of 56 years, Stephen W. Cauley Jr.; daughter, Renee Rains and husband, Rusty, granddaughters Ariel and Abigail of Clayton; daughter Kathy Fatico and husband, Tony, granddaughters, Crystal Zinn and her husband, Matt, and Aimee, grandson Mark of Chesapeake, Va.; son, Stephen W. Cauley III and wife, Donna; granddaughters Starlyn and Skyler of Clayton.

Mrs. Cauley is also survived by sisters, Lynda Bond of Courtland, Va.; Peggy Johnson of Boykins, Va.; and Amelia Spivey of Franklin, Va.
