ZUNI—The annual Day in the Country was held on April 28 at Zuni Presbyterian Homes, where mildly mentally disabled adults learn to live on their own with little supervision.

The 38th annual event gave relatives and friends of the residents a chance to tour the facilities and visit.

The day featured musical performances, door prizes, raffles, vendors with jewelry and art, and baked goods. Sandwiches, beverages, the center’s brand of peanuts and flowers also were available.
