To the Editor:

It seems to me that with the city experiencing record unemployment, low test scores in our schools, citywide obesity, excessively high garbage fees and electric rates that the City Council should take responsibility for its part in creating our troubles.

But they don’t.

I think we need to kick all of them out and start over.

Well, a vote for Linwood Johnson is a start in the right direction. He’s new. He’s not part of the past, or any clique on the council. He hasn’t been on a board forever with nothing good to show for the tenure.

I support change; therefore, I support Linwood Johnson for the City Council.
