SUFFOLK—Margaret Evie Milteer Fowler, 92, of Suffolk passed away on April 22, 2012.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 26, at Holy Neck Christian Church. A time of visitation will follow in the church fellowship hall. Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Holly Lawn Cemetery following visitation.

For the past 4½ years, she was a resident of East Pavilion nursing home at Southampton Memorial Hospital.

A native of Nansemond County, Mrs. Fowler was a seamstress at the Fashion Shop, Russell and Holmes, and later at Holmes Ltd.

She is survived by daughters Joan Minter of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Mamie Smith of Centreville, Md; and sons Oscar Bright Fowler Jr. of Davenport, Fla., and Timothy Fowler of Sunderland, Md.
