Franklin boys drop district match

DENDRON—The Franklin boys’ tennis team fell 4-5 to host Surry on Tuesday for the first district match.

Playing for more than two hours, Franklin’s Shaun Derama pulled off an exciting win at the No. 1 spot with a 6-4, 14-12 victory over the Cougars’ M. Jefferson.
