FRANKLIN—The Franklin High girls’ tennis team lost 6-3 to Northampton on Tuesday.

Playing without the benefit of three regulars, the Lady Broncos fell behind 4-2 in singles play. Liz Conner and Lokenya Ennis tallied the two singles points for Franklin.

In doubles play, Northampton took the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles with the tandem of Conner/Ennis winning the No. 3 doubles for the Lady Broncos.

In exhibition singles, Tyreckka Hawks defeated Haley Potts of Northampton.

Franklin dropped 3-5 and traveled to Northampton on Thursday for a rematch. Results were not available as of press time.
