LAKE GASTON, N.C.—Charles Clifford “Buck” Neal, 77, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at his Lake Gaston home.

A funeral will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk, followed by burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Neal was retired from the Navy and as a police sergeant at Norfolk Naval Station.

Among his survivors is daughter Rachell Grassman of Franklin.
