WINDSOR—Repairs have begun on Route 460 in Windsor and will continue through May 1, causing lane closures and detours for motorists, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
VDOT has closed one lane in each in direction near the Church Street intersection. The lanes will be closed for concrete repairs on the Route 460 westbound lanes. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction at all times.
During the lane closures, crews will repair all travel lanes of Route 460 and short sections of Route 603 and Route 610, creating a smooth driving surface through the intersection.
The following roads do not have direct access to Route 460: Bank Street, Church Street, North Court Street and South Court Street. The traffic signal at the intersection is on flashing yellow facing Route 460 traffic and on flashing red for North Court Street traffic.
