EMPORIA—Franklin’s 4X100-meter relay team of Travis Brown, JaVonte’ Blacknall, Reshard Sumblin and Latrell Lane qualified for the Region A track meet after placing second at Greensville on Wednesday.

The Bronco team qualified with a time of 45.38 seconds.

Brown also qualified with a sprint of 11.45 seconds for his fifth-place finish in the 100-meter dash.
