SUFFOLK—The Franklin High School boys’ tennis team lost 7-2 to Nansemond River on Friday.

The match was the first of the season for the host Warriors, while it was the fourth for the Broncos; two were cancelled due to rain.

Nansemond River picked up six wins in singles play and one in doubles.
